HL's birthday celebration at Brotzeit for dinner.

| Sunday, November 01, 2009 | 11:28:00 AM |
On my 24th birthday.....
Met up with Bren, Linda, HL at Marina Square for dinner. Ling supposed to join us as well but was caught up at work.
Time for snacks, before actual dinner!

They ordered this dish twice or thrice, I can't remember. Bren loves cha siew. She stopped eating for awhile after watching 见鬼 (ghosts licking cha siew sauce). LOL!

Seafood platter, non-spicy. HL and I finished everything in this platter, while Linda and Bren are struggling like hell. We are big eaters! Erm, actually HL ate much more than me.
After dinner, headed to HL's house for overnight mahjong! That night was my night! Mine and no one else!! I won over $100! 满台,平胡,all 自摸!! Terrific! This is my mahjong unbeatable record. My birthday luck is so damn good!

Sweet. Thanks Honey bun!
Attended Doreen's wedding dinner on my birthday.
The most suprising surprise happened after the dinner. I took a cab home because it was late and I gotta work the next day. Reached my block at around 1130pm and the moment I alight the cab, I heard someone calling my name.
HL and Linda were waiting for me!!! Damn shocked! They were in time, just before the clock strikes 12 midnight.
They are the representatives. Got me a cake and a watch.

I would say that life doesn’t change too drastically without Honey by my side. Maybe, just a little bit of loneliness. MISS YOU HONEY BUN!
As you all may know that my sister already got married and moved out, the house will definitely be quieter. I always try to go home early, so at least my parents get to see me before they head to bed. As usual, my daily routine after dinner is to switch on my laptop, connect to MSN and Skype and talked to Honey. Sometimes, we can’t talk online as he got to go for classes and by the time he got home, it is already past midnight in Singapore. Another way out is that I got up half an hour earlier in the morning and he sleep at midnight; this is the time whereby both of us are confirmed at home.
Friends have been really sweet to show concern, checking if I’m coping well. Thanks everyone! Ling messaged me this morning to ‘book’ me for next weekend. Yes, it is my birthday. I don’t really need celebration, just a gathering with good friends around me. Playing mahjong would be a good entertainment for all of us.
Went shopping at Marina Square and Orchard with parents and sis weeks ago, also brought them to try the Modern Peking Duck at ION basement, R Burger, etc. Got my winter down jacket and some accessories for my trip, need to buy a good pair of boots too! I simply cannot contain my excitement flying on SQ A380 to London and Paris on New Year’s Eve!
The drawback is that 9 days is too short but I’ve got no much leave, Honey and Joel are having their exams right after the trip, and Pounds are still Pounds after all even though it depreciates. Nevertheless, I’m still so happy to step foot on the beautiful cities!
Countdown 78 days more....

The night before sister's wedding, my parents have to 'comb' her hair.

The wedding day - morning events.
Farewell on 22nd September 2009, at T3 Changi Airport.

Linda is the best. Left her car by the dropping off point and her car was almost tolled away. Police came with a dog and sniff her car for bomb. Biggest drama of the night!

All of us.
Honey is many many miles away from me now. I miss you so much!
I have not get use to the 7 hours difference, have to talk to him very early in the morning before I go off to work.
I just hope time will pass faster and the torturous 1 year period will soon come to an end :(

Early 24th Birthday to both of us!

Honey managed to surprise me successfully with this birthday cake from Canele. Lucky, this time round I didn't buy a cake too. If not, we will end up with 2 cakes again.

For my serious motion sickness. Seasick, plane sick, you name it all. I have not tried on it yet, but will sure do on the flight to UK. 14 damn hours, I doubt I can survive.

Saturday dinner at Inakaya Robatayaki, Orchard Parade Hotel.
The waiters are all Japanese. They shouted our orders out loud to the chefs and they will bend over, pick the fresh ingredients and cook them right infront of us.
These are my birthday presents. Well, actually I got more because Honey bought me heels, long cardigan, supplements on other days too.

He got me this black Swaroski leather bracelet, which is love at first sight but was rather taken aback due to its price. I felt it was too much to pay for such a simple design, nevertheless Honey got it for me.
LOVE YOU HONEY BUN!
This is my Beautiful.
On board yacht on Sunday.

Honey and Joel's farewell at Dim Joy.
As the name says Dim Joy, dim sum with joy but eating dim sum on that day no longer seem a joyous event because we were walking in the rain trying to find the place. It is so hidden that 3 pairs of eyes are able to miss it. The usual late comers, Joel and Fate were there earlier than us. Irony.

$3 green tea. Premium.

Egg tarts are my favourite, top of the list!

Custard bun.

Menu.

Mango pudding.

Super green tea!

King crab ramen is so super expensive!

He can't get what the waiter is talking about. So am I.
King crab ramen is so super expensive!
$1 egg from Japan. The yolk just melts in your mouth.
I've been really busy at work as colleague is on leave and I'm definitely yearning for the weekend break!
This weekend is so fully packed!
Looking forward to see the guys on Friday for steamboat!
Saturday for early birthday celebration for Honey and myself, going to eat at a Japanese restaurant at Orchard Parade Hotel.
Sunday going on board yatcht for Honey's dad birthday, surely need to pop some motion sickness pills.
I know I'm so lousy. Whatever.
